GRAYSCALE POSTER
This project aimed to create a grayscale poster by hand that depicts an interesting place. Demonstrated by its composition and appeal, the poster should communicate a value proposition, encouraging its audience to visit the specific place.
The final poster was comprised of collage paper in varying values, along with markers to provide contours.
Production
These notes and sketches were all from observation. What made this park so special, and why?
These notes and sketches are iterations of thumbnails and concepts for the poster itself.
Out of all the thumbnails, four were chosen to expand upon as roughs. Although all four could make appealing posters, the first two most effectively communicate the value of the park.
